Lead-free Package - Our activities for protecting the environment
All Products Are Pb-Free and Compliant with the RoHS Directive
All SII semiconductor products are Pb-free.
- All SII semiconductor products are Pb-free and do not contain any of the six RoHS directive Note materials (cadmium, hexavalent chrome, mercury, Pb (lead), PBB, or PBDE).
- SII Pb-free products are unchanged from their predecessors in electrical characteristics, mechanical characteristics, and physical form (only Pb-free plating for pin leads differs).
- Besides the exceptions below, all SII Pb-free products have the letter "G" appended to the end of the model name.
- Some Pb-free product models have names end with "GB", "GD", or "GZ".
- WLP, SNB, and PLP package products do not include "G" in the model name but are lead free.

- The RoHS Directive, adopted by the European Parliament and the European Council, restricts the use of the following materials for electrical and electronic equipment put on the market in Europe from July 1, 2006. Hg (mercury), Cd (cadmium), Pb (lead), Cr 6+ (hexavalent chromium), PBB (polybrominated biphenyls), PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl ethers)
